How do I know which categories, merchants, vendors, and purchases are allowed?

Understanding your benefit categories guide

The best way to find out what categories are covered under your JOON benefit program is to check your company's JOON category guide. You can find your guide by logging into your JOON account, scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking "view my category guide."

The category guide has the overall programs your company is enrolled in (i.e. Health & Wellness, Family Care, Work From Home, etc.) along with some examples of valid purchases you can make that will be reimbursed. 

The 'Subcategories' and 'Popular Brands, Services, Purchase Examples' are JUST EXAMPLES to give you an idea of what falls under the program. For example, if your company has 'Health & Wellness'  turned on, but you don't see your local gym on there - we will definitely still approve it

Please be sure to check the bottom of the category guide for any exclusions your company has put into place.

Please note that no medical, dental or any expenses that can be covered by insurance or HSA are able to be reimbursed by JOON.
