Understanding your company's JOON category guide
The best way to find out what categories are covered under your JOON benefit program is to check your company's JOON category guide which is linked to from the bottom of your dashboard.
The category guide has the overall programs your company is enrolled in (i.e. Health & Wellness, Family Care, Work From Home, etc.) along with some examples of valid purchases you can make that will be reimbursed.
The 'Subcategories' and 'Popular Brands, Services, Purchase Examples' are just examples to give you an idea of what falls under the program. For example, if your company has 'Health & Wellness' turned on, but you don't see your local gym as an example, it will still be approved. Better yet - if you link your credit card that you pay for your membership with, you can submit a help ticket and ask us to add that gym merchant to the approved vendor list so it gets picked up automatically!
Please be sure to check the bottom of the category guide for any exclusions your company has put into place.
Please note that no medical, dental or any expenses that can be covered by insurance or HSA are reimbursed by JOON.
