How Do I Submit My Recurring Gym Membership or Subscription?
Short answer If you have a recurring purchase like a gym membership, you have two options: connect your purchase card to JOON so transactions are pulled in automatically each month, or manually submit the purchase each month yourself.
Option 1: Connect your purchase card
The easiest way to handle recurring purchases is to connect the debit or credit card you use for the membership to your JOON account. Once connected, eligible transactions will automatically be marked as eligible in your dashboard each month - no manual submission needed.

You'll receive an e-mail when your purchase is automatically marked as eligible. If not, you can always request a review for eligibility of this purchase.
Option 2: Manually submit each month
If you prefer not to connect a card, you can manually add the purchase to your JOON dashboard each month. Just make sure to submit it within the month the charge occurred, or during the grace period (the first 3 business days of the following month, unless noted otherwise on your category guide).
To manually add a purchase:
- Go to your JOON dashboard
- Click Add Purchase
- Enter the merchant name, amount, and purchase date
- Upload your receipt and submit
